Stile Antico makes cover of International Record Review

The February 2010 issue of International Record Review features Stile Antico on the front cover, as well as a whole page review of the group's latest release 'Media Vita'.

Critic Christopher Price remarks "Stile Antico's unforced pacing, sensitive phrasing and wonderfully clear textures underline the serene mood and harmonic richness of these modest works."

Comparing the group's recording of Sheppard's 'Media Vita' to that of the Tallis Scholars' from 1989, he goes on: "the more distantly recorded and monumental Tallis Scholars...sound slightly soulless next to Stile Antico..."

VOCES8 on Radio 3's CD Review

In his recent review of new A Cappella recordings, Andrew McGregor reviewed VOCES8's brand new release Aces High as the slickest of the lot.

Radio 3's CD Review, on Saturday 30th January, described Aces High as two parts Kings Singers, three parts Swingle [Singers], a dash of Bobby McFerrin and California sunshine...Fans of close harmony ought to hear this.
