The Sixteen triumph at the Southbank Centre
Wednesday, 7 March 2007
Recent reviews from The Sixteen's concerts as Associate Artists at the Southbank Centre have been outstanding: "the choral sounds were wonderfully clear and unfailingly precise" wrote The Guardian in March 2007, of the 'Streams of Tears' concert; The Times was equally impressed with this performance: "here was exultant and agile singing".
The German Requiem programme in October 2006 was hailed by The Independent as "a triumph...it was as if Christophers had lifted a mighty layer of dust from an Old Master".
