VOCES8 and The Senesino Players are soon to release their new CD of Bach Motets, directed by Barney Smith on Signum in September 2010. Performed one per part this CD is a refreshing insight into Bach's religious faith and demonstrates the essential parallels between his belief and his art.
This new recording is an astonishing follow up to their recent jazz CD 'Aces High' showing the unique versatility the group has in performing all genres of music from authentic baroque to popular jazz arrangements.
