Eaton Square Concerts continues its tradition of bringing a world wide range of fine chamber and choral music presented by some of the finest international artists. This season we welcome British stars VOCES8 and Ashley Wass, alongside some of the UK's most exciting young talent, the Piatti Quartet (2011 winners of the St Peter's Eaton Square Prize) and students from Chetham's School of Music. We are also delighted to welcome back former organist of St Peter's, Christopher Glynn, performing in an exciting collaboration with grammy award-winning soprano Hila Plitmann and prodigious British clarinetist Julian Bliss.

Artist Management Internship Opportunity

Ikon Arts Management is a forward-thinking music management agency representing some of the finest artists in the world. With over 15 years' experience in music management Ikon Arts Management develops world-wide concerts and tours, special projects and events for some of the worlds leading a cappella vocal groups and diverse contemporary ensembles.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to undertake an internship in the Ikon Arts Management office. S/he should be presentable and pro-active, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and experience of dealing directly with the public. The ability to speak another European language would be preferable but not essential.
We seek commitment of at least 3 days a week for a period of six months to start at the beginning of March. The post is unpaid, but we will reimburse daily travel expenses within Greater London.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is thinking about arts management as a career, and wishes to learn first-hand what is involved. You will work with the Artist Managers in the selling of artists, and with the other office staff in the facilitating of each artist’s diary, plus general running of the office.
Key duties in this role will include:
· assisting with special projects (such as Eaton Square Concerts, London A Cappella Festival & Songlines Encounters)
· producing detailed and accurate concert itineraries, including scheduling rehearsals and fixing musicians as required
· liaising between the artists, agents and promoters
· maintaining artists’ dairies and the office database
· assisting with PR and marketing strategies
· making visa, work permit and withholding tax applications
Start date: Beginning of March
Location: Islington, London

David Owen Norris's playing was 'beyond reproach' ****

Continued praise for Janina Fialkowska's Liszt release

Further to the success of Janina Fialkowska's recent release of piano works by Liszt with leading critics of the Financial Times, the Times and the Independant here, Geoffrey Norris of the Telegraph has awarded the disc a 5 star review. Hailed as "an enchanting recital" and praised for "the poise, spectrum of tone and sheer naturalness of her playing" this CD is "to be treasured by admirers of elegant pianism" (Geoffrey Norris, The Telegraph). Ikon Arts Management's newest artist, unique and innovative string trio Kosmos, performed as part of the Festival of Britain 2011 at the Southbank Centre's Purcell Room alongside She'Koyokh and Paprika.
